According to Sky Sports Golf, Sergio Garcia is determined to be part of the 2027 Ryder Cup setup, with the Spaniard open to returning either as a player or as a vice-captain.

The same report said Garcia’s spell on LIV Golf appears to be drawing to a close, although no further details were given about the timing or nature of that change.

Garcia is one of Europe’s most experienced Ryder Cup figures and has previously been involved in the competition in both playing and leadership roles, but Sky Sports Golf’s report focused on his stated ambition to be part of the next edition in 2027.
